Light of DayA celebration of yesteryear's film cameras |
Old cameras and film-based photography have become anachronisms in this digital age. Perhaps that is why I find it so appealing to seek out old cameras, restore them if needed, and the give them a breath of use again after many decades of storage. These galleries reflect the premise that any film camera can return great photos, if it can be knowingly used within its best capabilities. I hope you enjoy seeing what great creative instruments our parents and grandparents had at their disposal! (Indeed, I used some of these when I started the hobby nearly 40 years ago!) --Don Day |

Hello. I stumbled across your pages whilst researching/looking for information on a Kodak Premo No. 12 I have, which I am contemplating restoring and using. I really appreciated your work with the old folders, etc., and the 'found' photography (on Photobucket).
